Right before masks were a normal thing and before COVID made the wedding world come to a screeching halt, we celebrated Megan + Eshwar in a major way.

Megan and Eshwar are the very definition of elegance and class. With a lot of creative thinking, we blended Megan’s love for neutrals and clean lines with the vibrant elements of Eshwar’s heritage and the result was a beautiful night full of love, culture, happy tears, lots of food and awesome dance moves.

The moody brick and tall ceilings of Clementine paired with the ornate, church-like, windows created a warm and welcome atmosphere for guests to escape the rain. While most might consider rain on their wedding day less than ideal, we happen to think it makes for an even more romantic atmosphere. We won’t wish it on you, but we’ll admit (ever the optimists) we do a little happy dance when the candles are lit and the rain is coming down while we’re all safe and dry inside.

Megan wore a perfectly fit custom gown from Olia Zavozina. And the couple chose a completely custom ceremony that blended both cultures complete with two officiants as well as incorporating some of their closest friends and family in ceremonial traditions. Is there anything more beautiful than being showered in petals during your ceremony? Likely not.

It wouldn’t be a Sutlan + Co. wedding without warm lighting and candles everywhere and this wedding was no exception. With every wedding, we believe so strongly in creating an atmosphere that makes guests exhale a sigh of comfort and relief when they walk in the doors giving them the feeling that they belong there and they are major part of the celebration (because they are!). Tall centerpieces (masterpieces by Fresh By CarryAnn) feel elevated and elegant but warm lighting and local food feels familiar. It truly is the perfect balance.
